Tensleep

The protagonist is an underachieving woman geologist trying to blend with the male world of an oil rig in the hinterlands of Wyoming. However, the routine is shattered by two strange and inexplicable deaths and questionable details of the operation. Em Hansen is slowly drawn into the mysteries and must connect the random clues before the well is shut down and more lives, including her own, are put at risk.
