Cornell University Library Witchcraft Collection
by Cornell University. Library
Description
A selection of texts from the Witchcraft Collection at the Cornell University Library, which contains over 3000 titles documenting the history of the Inquisition and the persecution of witchcraft. The collection focuses on witchcraft not in terms of folklore or anthropology, but as theology and as religious heresy. Approximately 100 titles are available in digitized form on the website as of Oct. 29, 2004. Most books are available either in page-by-page GIF images or transcribed to text; some are available in only one format or the other. The online collection may be searched via keyword with Boolean operators or browsed alphabetically by author or title.
