The art of the Sepik River

"Containing artistic expression of the peoples of the Sepik River [Valley, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea] both relief sculpture and sculpture in the round, the exhibition displays both decorative elements of boat prows, masks, shields, neckrests, objects used in daily lives of these people, often painted in a variety of reds, yellows, whites, and blacks."
